History of PT. Wasesa Line
“Using Experience to Create Opportunities”
Established in 1955 PT Wasesa Line’s main business has been traditionally in the chartering / operating/ broking and agencies for general cargo to cater both domestic and international markets.
Since 2014 the company embarked a series of strategic initiatives to also focus in the oil and gas services. The company initially was awarded agency services by PT Baruna Raya Logistics to handle its offshore supply vessels throughout Indonesia as well as purchasing and operating its own fleets to build a solid foundation. In 2019 with the downturn of the oil & gas services, the company purchased 4 fast utility vessel to obtain sustainable contracts for the oil production activities in East Kalimantan.
Going forward the company plans to leverage “using experience to create new opportunities” during conditions of uncertainty. While maintaining its traditional shipping services business, the purchase of the four offshore supply fast utility vessels is part of the initial business initiatives to continue focus on the oil & gas services particularly supporting the more sustainable oil production activities. We would be seeking to acquire offshore supply vessels ie crew boats, utility vessels, and AHTS in the future while managing the risk and reward relationship prudently.

Established under the name of “PT Maskapai Pelayaran Kidang Mas” Owning and Operating general cargo Headquarter in Palembang, Sumatera.
Changed its name to “PT Wasesa Line” and moved its headquarter to Jakarta.
Opened branch in Tanjung Priok, Jakarta.
Appointed as General Agent for Kie Hock Shipping- Singapore.
Opened branch in Cirebon, West Java.
Member of INSA (Indonesian National Shipowners’ Association) (1990). Owner of various vessels that include:

Appointed as ship operator by PT Kertas Kraft Aceh (KKA) to transport kraft paper to cement factories in Indonesia (Jakarta, Cirebon , Cilacap, Tuban, Birinkasi, Panjang)
Appointed as general agent for Contipac Shipping Pte.Ltd vessels to transport cargo plywood for European markets.
Appointed as general agent for Hyundai Merchant Marine Co.Ltd. vessels to transport cargo plywood from Papua to Asia.
Appointed by PT Kiani Kertas as general agent and sub agents for vessels carrying raw materials from Australia, Malaysia, China, and others, as well as factory production from Tanjung Redeb-East Kalimantan with destinantion to Europe and the Middle East.
2000-2019
Appointed as general agent for Pan Ocean Shipping Co.Ltd vessels to transport woodpulp at Mengkajang, Berau, East Kalimantan.
Agency for Oil & Gas services sector as appointed by PT Baruna Logistics and PT Wintermar Group to support their offshore supply vessels.
